Paving Restoration
Site-Ex specializes in restoring brick-paved surfaces to their original condition, including any concrete surrounds. We work across the Perth metropolitan area and CBD to ensure that after utility works are complete, your footpaths and driveways are seamless, level, and safe.
Ensuring a Stable Foundation
To ensure your paving remains level over time, the ground underneath must be properly prepared. While our team performs surface compaction as part of our final preparation, deep structural compaction (below 400mm) must be completed by the trenching contractor during the backfilling process. By ensuring the soil is compacted in 300mm layers before we arrive, the contractor provides the stable foundation necessary for a high-quality finish.
General Paving
Brick paving is a versatile solution used extensively for residential driveways, public footpaths, and commercial precincts due to its durability and ease of repair. A professional reinstatement ensures that the bond patterns are correctly aligned and the surface is properly edged, preventing shifting under the weight of vehicles or foot traffic.
-
Matching Challenges: Paving designs and styles change over time, and locating an exact match for older pavers can sometimes be challenging.
-
Substitution Options: If your original pavers are no longer in production, we will work with you to find the best possible substitution.
-
Relocation Strategy: Where possible, we can often relocate original pavers from a less visible area of your property to use for the repair, replacing the hidden area with the new match.
Cobblestone
Cobblestone is a premium, highly durable paving option often chosen for its timeless aesthetic and strength in high-traffic areas. It is frequently used for decorative driveways, heritage-style pathways, and heavy-use transitions in the Perth CBD.
-
Sourcing Difficulty: Like all specialized surfaces, cobblestone can be difficult to source if the original style is no longer manufactured.
-
Specialist Restoration: Because these stones are often irregular in shape or size, they require a skilled hand to reinstate them correctly to ensure a level and safe surface.
-
Providing Details: If you have any information regarding the original contractor or sourcing, please share those details with our team to help us find the closest match.
